Incorporate yoga into your exercise or healing routine for greater strength, flexibility, balance, and stress relief

It doesn’t matter your age of current physical shape
Yoga is appropriate for every body and soul

I will design a yoga practice to get you moving without risking an injury; then you will gradually build flexibility and range of motion, strength and balance, and you will start adding postures you never thought you would ever be doing.
Yoga can help you control hypertension, reduce blood sugar and LDL (bad) cholesterol levels, and boost your energy. Better yet, you will start revising your lifestyle, improving your diet, and relating to your body in a whole new way.

Modern life has its advantages, but a sedentary lifestyle will sooner or later take a toll on your health and overall wellbeing. Let’s stretch and strengthen those numb muscles, improve your blood circulation, and bring some fresh oxygen to every cell in your body so you can perform your professional activities more efficiently, and feel invigorated at the end of the day. So, after 5pm, instead of heading straight to your couch and turn the TV, let’s get together and do some yoga!
Whether you are an active senior looking to improve your flexibility and balance, or you just retired after a whole life of sedentary habits, there’s a gentle yoga practice appropriate for you. I usually work in coordination with some of my client’s health professionals to design a practice that is safe and effective for each individual. Yoga can help you improve your functional mobility, coordination and posture, all essential aspects in our activities of daily living.

A marathon runner has different needs than a martial artist or boxer; a football player will benefit from a different set of poses than those appropriate for a cyclist. Build core strength, improve flexibility, enhance your focus… Whatever your sport, there’s a yoga sequence specifically beneficial for you.
Every single posture can be modified and adapted to suit your needs. I will design for you a safe and well-balanced routine and I will work alongside you to make sure you get the benefits that each posture provides.
Is yoga for you?

You are a war veteran, farmer, cook, teacher, graphic designer, merchant, construction worker or medical doctor…
Yes, yoga is for you.
Stay present... in the present
Your monkey mind wanders endlessly—replaying the past or rehearsing the future. You’re distracted by the roar of a passing motorcycle, still unsettled by yesterday’s argument, worried about medical test results, or anxious about tomorrow’s trip to visit your daughter in New Jersey.
All of these mental distractions drain your energy and pull you away from the only moment that truly exists: the present. Yoga gently trains the mind to return to the here and now, anchoring your attention to the breath and the body.
With consistent practice, you learn to focus fully when concentration is needed and to truly relax when it’s time to rest. Over time, this awareness brings greater clarity, calm, and balance into everyday life
Share your needs and goals with me, and I will design a personalized yoga practice that will not only help you to become stronger and more flexible, but also to reduce stress, improve posture and cognitive function, and relieve chronic aches and pains.
You are a sedentary person with a few extra pounds and limited mobility
You are a stressed-out office worker who sits in front of a computer for hours a day
You are an older adult, and your doctor recommended you to start any form of exercise to tone your muscles and improve your balance.
You are an athlete that trains daily for a high-performance sport.
